Olga Kokshagina
Global Innovation and Design Leader
Dr. Olga Kokshagina is a Global Innovation and Design Advisor at Global Minds Network. Bridging academic and business practices, Olga brings an impressive multidisciplinary background in the roles of international consultant, researcher, project leader and educator. As a researcher and practitioner in innovation management, Olga has worked with a variety of organizations, including Danone, IBM, Airbus, Société Générale, Schneider Electric, and Accenture. She is a co-author of the Radical Innovation Playbook and upcoming book on the Future of Learning for Creativity, Innovation and Entrepreneurship as well as a co-founder of Ninti, a digital solution platform for women’s health.
Olga’s research specializations are focused on the areas of strategic management of design, open and radical innovation, entrepreneurship, and the role of emerging technologies in transforming the nature of work. She is an Associate Professor of Innovation and Entrepreneurship at the EDHEC Business School in France. She previously held the role of Lecturer in Innovation and Entrepreneurship at RMIT University in Melbourne Australia, where she was the recipient of the vice chancellor research fellowship. In creating value for a number of corporate clients, she has served as an international ambassador and innovation manager for Stim, an innovation consultancy, where she led projects to develop transformational strategies, design digital platforms and tools, and facilitate workshops.
With a great interest in building active research and practice communities, Olga is a valued thought leader at ISPIM (International Society for Professional Innovation Management) where she leads the Innovation Management Methods SIG. She is also a member of the French Digital Council (CNNUM). Olga has authored more than 10 publications on innovation and technology topics in academic and practitioner journals. She is the co-author of five patents involving disruptive technologies. She received her MSc in Management of Industrial Processes from Bauman Moscow State Technical University in Russia and her PhD in Innovation, Design, and Technology Management from Mines ParisTech in France.
